About the Creative Journal Maker
A Story of Creativity, Healing, and
Returning to Myself
Hi, I’m Jodie.

I’m a journal maker, creative guide, and woman who has walked through burnout, overwhelm, and reinvention — and found her way back home through paper, ritual, and nature.
But I didn’t begin here.

I didn’t begin in the flower field, or in handmade journals, or hosting creative gatherings.

I began in survival mode.
Rushing. Over-giving. Holding everything together for everyone else.
Losing myself while trying to be everything.
Disconnected from my body.
From my creativity.
From my intuition.
From joy.
Life felt like something I was managing — not living.
And then, slowly — across seasons — I returned to the simplest things.
Paper.
Silence.
Nature.
Breath.
And everything began to shift.

Remembering Who I Was
My healing didn’t come from one big breakthrough.
It came from small, daily rituals:
Journaling to hear my own voice again.
Cutting and tearing paper just for the joy of it.
Herbal teas to calm my nervous system.
Sitting outside with the wind in my hair.
Creative mess without rules or expectation.
Reiki and energy practices to release what I was carrying.
Movement and breath to reconnect to my body.
Bit by bit, page by page, I returned to myself.
Not perfectly.
Not in straight lines.
But in cycles.

And in that remembering, I realised something important:
Creativity isn’t decoration.
It’s regulation.
It’s restoration.
It’s reclamation.

The Work I Now Share
Creative Journal Collective grew from those quiet 15-minute rituals.
What began as personal healing became handmade journals.
Then curated junk boxes.
Then creative kits.
Then gatherings around tables with scissors and tea.
Now, my work is devoted to helping women slow down and reconnect through simple, tangible creative practices.

Through:
• Handmade journals
• Junk journal kits and paper treasures
• Digital prompts and printables
• Gentle creative workshops
• Nature-inspired rituals
• Energy and sanctuary spaces

I create spaces where women can:
Breathe again.
Create without pressure.
Feel safe to express.
Reconnect with their own rhythm.

My Philosophy
I don’t believe in perfection.
I believe in presence.
In slow mornings.
In paper scraps.
In creative mess.
In ritual.
In the healing power of nature.
In cycles over straight lines.
In 15 minutes being enough.
I believe every woman deserves a place where she feels grounded, inspired, and allowed to create simply because it feels good.

The Wildflower Thread
Nature has always been my teacher.
The flower field.
The seasons.
The quiet wisdom of herbs and ritual.
Energy healing.
Creative sanctuary.
These threads still weave through my work — especially within Wildflower Sanctuary and Horses Helping Humans — but at the heart of it all is something beautifully simple:
A page.
A pen.
A moment.

Why I Do This
Because I know what it feels like to lose yourself in responsibility.
And I know what it feels like to find yourself again in creativity.
Creative Journal Collective is my offering.
Not as a guru.
Not as a perfect artist.
But as a woman who found her way back through paper and wants to hand you the tools to do the same.
And now, if something here feels familiar…
Maybe it’s your season too.
Your season to slow down.
To begin again.
To create.
To bloom in your own time.
Welcome to Creative Journal Collective.
I’m so glad you’re here.

The self-care and mindset work I’ve done with Jodie has completely transformed how I show up for myself and others. Before joining the Creative Mindset Collective, I was constantly overwhelmed and unsure of my next steps. But through the practices Jodie teaches—like journaling, mindfulness, and soul inquiry—I’ve found balance and inner peace. I finally feel like I’m blossoming into the woman I’ve always wanted to be."

Jodie’s guidance has helped me not only reconnect with my passions but also turn them into a growing business! The Wildbloom Business workshops gave me the clarity and tools I needed to turn my vision into reality. Her approach is gentle yet powerful, and the community she’s built is so supportive. I never imagined I’d be able to step into my entrepreneurial journey with this much confidence and purpose

Joining the Creative Goddess Collective has been nothing short of life-changing. I had struggled with self-doubt and burnout for years, but through Jodie’s coaching and the self-care practices, I finally learned how to nurture myself and build a mindset of confidence. The seasonal themes helped me stay grounded and focused on what I needed at each stage of my personal growth. I now feel more empowered, creative, and in control of my life than ever before!
